Meet the Bald Explorer

Exploring Britain's Fabulous Heritage...

Television Presenter

For the past three years I have been producing and presenting a documentary series called, The Bald Explorer and recently, it has been shown on the Community Channel. It has been a great success and we are shortly going to make more. The programmes look at Britain's towns and heritage, as well as its many legends, traditions and fabulous architecture. We have covered subjects from the old smugglers on the Romney Marshes to abandoned canals. You can watch the episodes and find out more here: Bald Explorer Website

Mime Artiste and Fire Eater

In the 1980s I trained in the silent art of mime which you consider perfect training for a future speaker! I also learned many circus skills along the way, including juggling, uni-cycling, stilt-walking, lying-on-a-bed of nails, walking-on-broken-glass and fire-eating. I have toured around the UK with my one-man 'Danger Show', performing at gala events, street festivals and for corporate evenings.

Children's Television and Books

In the mid 1990s, I wrote and produced a children's television series with Scottish Television entitled 'Snug and Cozi'. It told the slapstick adventures of two spacemen, who had crash landed on the planet Earth. Two series were produced and it was much acclaimed. Some of the episodes are still available on Youtube.com. I am currently writing a children's fantasy novel, which I intend to publish for the Amazon Kindle, and as an audio book.
