Hellingly Hospital Promo Video
This a short demo of the Hellingly Video. Hellingly Mental Asylum was founded in 1903 as a purpose built hospital for people with mental health problems. It is situated near the quiet village of Hellingly in East Sussex, close to the town Hailsham. It is fairly unique in as much that a small electric railway branched off the mainline to make it easier and no doubt more descreet to receive patients. I go to investigate this unusual and now derelict place.

quick dig out my paypal login from my Palm password program and buy it. At
$4 it's a no-brainer.
The quality of the teaser was outstanding and I would like to see your
historical tours on a show on the Discovery Channel or the History Channel.
You are an engaging and personable presenter who can make something that
sounds mundane abso-frickin-lutely fascinating.
As for the feedback about ala carte versus subscription access, I think both
can appeal to different kinds of people. I would prefer the the ala carte
method since I can pick and choose when my finances allow.

Vobsey... The Hellingly video is simply brilliant man. I really think you're onto something. THIS is it. Thanks for pulling together a compelling picture of a place that so many ignore. VIDEO... with this you are a natural. Love the rough quality, it's far more endearing and realistic than the big rig. I know how much more work this takes - but it's worth it. Richard, That was very compelling! I thoroughly enjoyed watching the video. I like history in much the same way as you do...I can't just read about some place I have to go visit it and see if I can "see" how it was back through time. It's a shame actually that people have so little respect for things like this...treasures as it were. Unfortunately it's human nature to think only of the now. I hope you do other videos like this one. I especially enjoy transitioning "then" photos into "now" images. I wonder if any more "then" exist. Anyways, I hope you had a good weekend. Robert

Hi Richard, I have just seen your o/b on Hellingly Lunitic asylum and have to comment on the programme. What a fantastic insite into a fantastic building with a dark hidden past. Your ability to hold the episode together and being presenter, director,camera operator and logistics co-ordinator, it just goes to show any critics out there what you are capable of.
